The Meaning of Home
Home is not just walls and a roof; home is much more. Home can be
anyone or anything. Home is where you feel loved and safe. Home is
where laughter and joy fill the room, and somewhere you feel like you
belong. And somewhere where memories are everywhere.
When some people think of home, they think of a house, so do I. But to
me, my house is much more than just a building. Every single place in my
house is special to me, such as my living room, where I watch movies
with my family and share snacks, and we look at old memories and laugh.
And my dining room, the place where we discuss our day, and my
kitchen, where I mix random stuff and make my mom try it, and my
bedroom, the place where I talk to my stuffed animals, thinking that
they can hear me, and they will come to life and talk to me some day,
and then my brother's room where there is a bunch of stuff is all over
the place and he refuses to clean it up my bathroom the place where i
help my mom bathe my dog and he splashes water all over us and keeps
trying to jump out of the bath. Then, my parents' room is the place
where I jump on my parents' bed because mine is not soft enough, and
I'm scared I will break it, no matter how big or small it is. What
matters is the amount of love inside.
