My Life Moving With my Mom and Dad
My Life Moving With my Mom and Dad Riley Clements
When I was just born I lived in a very old house. I don't remember what it looks like.
Then when I turned two I moved into a different house. I lived there with my mom and dad and we were a happy family. The house had an upstairs and a beautiful fireplace with humming birds on the glass. Downstairs there was another fireplace and on the sides there were pretty white rocks. Upstairs in the hall there was my bedroom and my parents bedroom. My bedroom had a shelf with all my favorite toys and crystals. My room was pink and green.
Outside of my house were two trees in the front yard. One was big and one was small. My house was yellowish/white with green shutters. In the backyard there was a pool, a very old pool shed and a fence. Behind the fence was another shed. We also had a beautiful waterfall close to my house in the woods. My dad went hunting sometimes with Shallow and Nina, our dogs. He went on his bike.
My mom and dad had two monster trucks. My mom’s was white with a pink girl on it, and my dad’s was all black. They both took it through the mud. One day my dad’s arm got stuck in the steering wheel and sadly got broken. He spent a lot of time in the hospital and had to get a metal rod put in his arm. I visited him.
When I turned six, it was Christmas and my mom and dad broke up. I was very sad and thought that I would never see my dad again. But then I got to spend one week with my mom and one week with my dad. My dad and I tried to find a new house. First, we lived in the upstairs of a house and then we decided to move into my Nan’s house. I loved staying at Nan’s because sometimes I got to sleep in her big bed with her, and sometimes I would sleep on the couch with dad and we would watch movies together.
I also started school at Uniak District Wolves School. I loved it there, it felt like home. Next, my dad moved into his friend’s apartment and then they moved into another house. I went there on Fridays.
Finally we moved into another house with Kim. She has a dog named Stella. First my bedroom was in her office and then I moved into a different room. My room is white and has a place to hang my stuffies. She also has a cat named Leelo.
At my mom’s, we got a new dog. He is a baby bull mastiff and his name is Dozer. We live in Hammonds Plains now and I go to Hammonds Plains Consolidated School. I am 9 now.
