“Are we home yet?”
My home to me is a safe place where I can build memories from playing cards with my family, cooking something bad or good, board games, or even playing games on a console.
I can smell the pleasant aroma of the food my family makes that slowly breaches my room in the cold morning. I can also smell the sweet smelling candles in my home. I can see my brother playing games along my mom working. I can touch my delicious food when I eat and touch my grey pencil when I draw and do work. I can also touch my electronic devices along with warm drinks when i'm cold.
I can hear the sounds of cooking from my mother and father. I can also hear my mom in meetings and the clicking of keys on a computer. I can taste pleasant warm food and see paintings and plants in my home. I can hear the sound of my brother dribbling in my basement. I can hear the sounds of my family playing games
When I get home, I hear the sound of people talking, and my mother giving me a warm, welcoming home. My home to me is a very special place where I belong. I can feel the smooth wood railings for my stairs, and I can see the decorations.
Home is very special to me because everything whether it is school from grades 1-4, or just my memories of living at my home. My home is a part of who I am, and sometimes certain homes depending on where they are, can never be replaced. Everyday I realize how much I value my home a little bit more.
