My Pieces of Home

Everybody has their own definition of home. My home is a place where I can express any feelings and be myself! Where I can be the happiest and most comfortable! Home is a place where I make memories. Home is also made up of different rooms where I rest and create these memories! My bedroom’s where I rest and get recharged for the next day. I love to read in my room when I’m sad, bored, happy or want to learn. My bookshelf has my trophies reminding me of my most favourite and happiest accomplishments. It’s a place where my brother and I talk about school, video games, and hockey. We connect and play ministicks because we both love hockey. Another piece of my home is the dining table where I eat every meal. It’s where my family talks about our day. My brothers and I share funny stories about school with each other. The dining table makes me happy because it nourishes my body by eating food and nourishes my mind by talking with my family. The final piece of my home is the basement where I play with my brothers. We play a basketball game when we’re bored. After school we watch TV to relax. The basement is where we hang out, laugh and bond with our friends and family! A home consists of many things, but most importantly how we feel. I feel so happy & full of excitement when I look back at my memories and am enthusiastic to make new ones. The definition of Home to me, is a place that gives you love and happiness. My home is: a place to read, play, be yourself, and share stories with my family. Finally, what’s your definition of home?
