Home is Like a Puzzle Piece

The meaning of home to me doesn’t always have to be a place, it can also be a feeling. A home and a house are two different things, A house is just a building with windows, something new. A home is a place of safety, care. Home is a shoulder to cry on when you have a bad day, home is where the memories are. A place that makes you feel weightless, a sense of relief, where you are free of stress. Home should feel like you’re wrapped in a sheet of warmth, and feel cozy on the inside. Home should feel like a safe spot. It’s never about the pictures hanging on the wall, it’s about the moment captured in a frame. It’s never about the food that's cooked, it’s about the laughter we share, with me and my family being together. Home is happiness, whenever I'm with my family I feel at home.
