A Place Called Home

Home is like a place where I feel safe and belong. When I come inside my home I feel my soft and comfortable bed, I touch my couch where I sit down every day and relax. I smell my mom’s food like pasta , pizza and even the different kinds of soups she makes. It’s just like scented candles to my nose. Some things that I hear when I come are screaming , cooking , tv and sometimes even instruments. I taste my mom’s cooking : Potato soup , chicken curry and rice , ramen , pasta , pizza and salad. She always makes great stuff for our family. When I taste her food after a long day , it’s like peace to me. I see so many things when I come home , I see my family and it makes me feel happy because for 6 hours I'm at school and for 5 hours on weekdays I'm at home so I always make the most of it. Also , I see my room , kitchen , basement , laundry , laptop and my dad work at home. Whether it is quiet or chaos in my home , I love my home because no one can hurt me or harm me. It's my shelter and where I belong. A house is not where I belong neither is school , I go to school to learn and a house to visit and spend time with family and friends. Home is not a place it’s where you are a part of. Home will always be where you are welcomed and will always be associated with.
