Dear Home, I remember the day I first walked in here. When I walked in, the smell of a fresh new home relaxed my nose. I felt the smooth walls under my fingertips. I heard hammers banging on the small parts of the house that were not finished. I knew I would feel safe here. Home, thank you for being there for me. Your toasty heaters keep me warm when I'm cold, your sturdy walls keep me safe when I feel unsafe, and you hold all of my family's happy memories. You carry laughter all throughout the apartment. Every time I walk in there, I smell the delicious smell of yummy soup, chicken, and any food you can think of. The sound of rain hitting the window really soothes my ears. I love sitting on your balcony and reading books under the sun. You know, homes don't need to be big and fancy to make you feel safe and happy, but Home, thank you for being a cozy, happy house for me and my family. From, Me
