Every home starts as a house until someone makes it a home
A home is a place where you feel comfortable and happy. When I get home from school my mom is always cooking something in the kitchen.
A house is just a structure with furniture or you might visit your friend's house.
A home is somewhere you can be yourself and a place you have control.
A house you don't have control over. A home to me is somewhere that I feel welcome and somewhere I know that my family will cheer me up if I had a bad day. It's really nice when I have my dog wake me up in the morning. A home is a place you grow up in and make memories that you never forget. When you have a home it gives you a really amazing special feeling. It's hard to explain, but when you have a home you will feel it. It has that smell that you won't forget. If you go to your friend's house it's not going to smell the same as yours. My dad actually had to move schools and houses a lot when he was little. My dad often moved to different cities, so he wasn't moving close to his old home. My dad said it's hard when you have to keep moving houses. But however many times he moved houses it would still be a home because his family was there with him. Everyone deserves a home no matter how different they are. Most of all a home is somewhere where everyone cares and shares and somewhere you can celebrate your culture. My family makes me feel really happy, comfortable and safe. In my opinion I think everyone deserves that feeling of happiness. Everyone's homes are somewhat different.
