Home From the Bottom of My Heart :)

What is a home? Home is an emotional feeling beyond the walls. It's a place you just can’t forget. Wherever you go it always stays in the back of your mind. Home is also where I feel safe. It’s the place where I can be myself without being judged. Home is where I stay snuggled up in bed with my favorite stuffies. The ones who have been with me every time I was happy and every time I was sad. School is loud, messy, and noisy and coming home and seeing my quiet and cozy home reminds me of the real me. Most people don’t know that I am a quiet person, but my home always remembers and it comforts me because it knows. All the pictures on the walls are like a photo album bursting with memories and laughter. The delicious smell of my mom’s special soup is like nostalgia. My home is who I am and it comes from the bottom of my heart. It shows the real me and makes me feel safe and cared for. My connection with my home is far beyond what this can show because my home is something I can never forget, not in a million years. I truly believe that your home IS who you are.
