My Favourite Place: Home

To me, home is an amazing place where I can feel happy, joyful and loved. When I come home from a bad day at school, my home makes me feel calm and safe. My family makes me laugh and feel cared for when I am at home. Home helps me feel relaxed, warm and cozy. My home protects me from all of the bad, mean, scary and not very good things in the world. Home makes me feel determined, brave and confident when I am overcoming a challenge. When I feel overwhelmed, my home makes me feel calmer and hopeful. At home I make lots of memories with my family. Habitat for humanity provides a hand up to the people that need it. They also help people afford a home so that everybody can feel happy. Overall, home is any house, big, small, tall or short that you want to make your home.
