This is Home

A home is a place where you should feel cared for and feel safe and loved. If home was the taste it would be freshly baked homemade brownies that my family makes every friday on movie night where we get cozy on the couch. If home was a smell it would be the smoky smell of a campfire late at night when me and my family bundle up in our blankets and roast marshmallows and laugh at my dads bad jokes. If home was a site it would be the early spring mornings with all the flowers blooming and the birds chirping peacefully in the background when I play in the back yard with my dog. If home was a feeling it would be a safe,calming and respectful place where everybody has their own space and people to go to with their emotions. If you could hear home it would be a Place full of love where I could say I love you and I would hear it back every time. Thank you to Habitat for humanity for doing all that you do.
