What Does Home Mean?
I've always wondered what home means. Well I think I know
what it means. Home means a place to feel safe and cared for. A
place to have food and water. Somewhere to have a family and a
place to grow in.
“What do you think of when you think of home?” Well home
means different things for different people. For some people
home means a place to retreat to, somewhere to go where people
care about them when they're feeling down.
“What do you feel when you think of home?” Some people
feel different things when they think of home. For starters some
people feel happiness, joy, safe, welcome and seen. For some
other people that's not what they feel. They might feel neglected
and sad. But they still have a roof over their head.
When you're at home you should feel safe and cared
for, happy, seen and joyful. Even when you get into an argument
with your family your home is still your home you just feel angry
and that's fine because that's just an emotion.
So, no matter where you are, how you feel and how you act
your home is still your home and it always will be. So don't ever
forget “Your home is still your home.” Thank you habitat for
humanity for giving others a home.
