Home is a Place Where I Feel

What does home mean to me? Let me think for a second. Home is a safe place where I feel loved and welcomed. I feel at home when my family sits on the sofa together and watches movies with tasty buttery popcorn. The scent of popcorn wafts from the well used kitchen. Home is when me and my sister read fantasy novels in our warm living room while eating salty chips. Home is where me and my family eat our dinner. It's fun to chat with them. I feel like home can be anyplace to me. I feel at home when I‘m outside playing with my friends in the cold wintery white snow. When I’m playing with my friends I don't feel the cold at all. Home is where I learn new things at school. Sitting at my desk wondering what amazing activities we're going to do next. Home is in my grandparents house where I eat yummy chocolates and have sweet dreams under the starry night. Home is where my fish calm me down at the end of a tiring long day Home makes me feel loved, warm, safe, happy, and that I belong. What does home mean to you?
