The Meaning of Home

I love home, it’s one of my favorite places on Earth. It brings happiness, memories, and celebrations. It's somewhere you can stay safe. Home is amazing, I am so grateful that my parents can afford it because unfortunately, some people don’t have homes. People always just say its four walls but it's more than that. Its smells of cooking, laughs and giggles, sometimes sadness; it can all be held in one structure, home. I love coming home from school and being at home whether that’s the smell of cooking, packing up for a vacation, where is that? Home. There are pictures from the day you were born to you now, and it shows you that’s where you grew up. It’s a place where you can be yourself and you know that you belong at home. I love coming home from school and playing board games or watching movies and shows with my family. I’ve learned so much stuff being at home like learning how to cook, baking, and even learning math from my parents. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for making people safe and helping communities. Without, lots of people could not have a home, a home in bad condition or people who have disabilities and make it way harder. All the countries and communities, your dedication to it is amazing.
