The Meaning of Home
For me, my home is so much more than a house. It has all the things I could ever want, and I can tell you all about it. I enter and I’m immediately welcomed in with a warm smile and the comfortable noise of my home. The lovely smells of food in the kitchen pull me deeper into the wonderful place that is my home.
Have you ever just wanted to chill and not have to worry about anything? The Living room is the room where I get to do that. In there I can just relax and unwind. It holds some of the tangible things I like, such as the couch and my computer, but it also holds the memories of the time I spend with family and friends. Like jokes, movie nights and even when we’re all doing our own thing.
My bedroom is like a sanctuary. A private space where I can do what I want, it’s where I have freedom. It’s where I spend the nights cuddled up under the sheets in my cozy bed and where I wake up to start the day.
So in all, my home is not just a house, it’s a place with love, comfort and encouragement. It’s where I can go if I’m ever feeling down or if I had a bad day. That, my friend, is what I call home.
