What Home Means to Me
What is home and why should we be grateful?
Home is a building, but not just a building, Home is a place, a shelter, a spot, where you feel safe, warm, and welcomed. Some people don't have a spot where they feel safe, warm, and welcomed. In fact, over 300 million people don't have a home, and it sucks.
We should NEVER take our home for granted. If you don't have a 50 ft waterslide in your backyard, don’t be upset. If you don't have a $600 PS5 in your bedroom, don’t whine. These things are expensive and MANY people can't afford them, and if you do have these things, be EXTREMELY grateful!
Some people only have a mattress and a tent to live in and they are happy! If you think your life is miserable because you don't have a PS5, be quiet and be grateful for the things you DO HAVE! I am extremely grateful for my home. My family cares for me and buys me things. They make me so happy and feel loved. I don't ask for anything more than it is now.
Home is a safe space, a place to feel calm and happy. Many homes are loud, and crazy, but that's what makes it awesome. No homes are exactly the same. Some people's houses are quiet, while others are loud. Then some are a mix between, but all are awesome, and everyone should feel happy in their home.
Some people don't have any home to go to, and that is why we should never complain or get upset if we don't have something. You should always be grateful for what you have, you never know when it could go away.
