What Home Means to Me

My home is not just a building; it’s my safe place. Every time I walk into my home all the pressure comes off. The place I call home is also a place where my family and I make memories. Each time I come home I see warm lights and the bright feeling that tells me, I’m home. To me, home doesn’t have to be where you live, it can also be where your family is, when I’m with my family, I’m home. My home is like a bright sun after a rainy day; it’s also like a colorful rainbow after a storm. Whenever I feel sad or upset, my family is there to listen. Home cheers me up after a stressful day. Home makes me excited for the next day too. So again, home is not just a building, it’s where I feel safe, happy, and where I belong.
