What Home Means To Me
Home is a personal sanctuary that means feeling safe, loved, and comfortable, serving as a place to be your true self. It is defined more by connections, family, friends, pets, and memories, than by physical structure. Home represents a space for rejuvenation, comfort, growth, and unconditional acceptance.
I know that home is a huge shelter. It's a place that lets you have your own room to sleep in. In the kitchen, there are snacks in the food drawer as well as soft drinks in the fridge. I like to eat the gushers from the food drawer, drink the Pepsi from my fridge, and eat the KitKat ice cream from the freezer. In my living room, the TV is what makes our family never be bored, especially when I lose the remote. The couch is the bed of our living room. We sit and sleep on it everyday, and watch the show.
Finally, what home means to me is my family. Wherever I may be or the house I am in or the things in the house, a home won't be complete without a family.
