What Home Means

The difference between a house and a home is that a home is a place where memories and laughter are found, a home has non-tangible things. The non-tangible things are memories, laughter, kindness and more. But there are tangible things that can have memories like a photo or a letter and there could be something special in your home that makes your home different and special. A house is a building not where there are memories or laughter. and a house has tangible things like furniture, food, and appliances. But Habitat for Humanity can make a house a home by helping people and giving them a house so they can make it a home. A home is not the same for everyone but everyone should have a home to describe. What a home for me means a play where I feel safe, comfortable, and where I can be myself. There are things that make my home special like my mom’s fresh baking and my baby sister’s laugh and my family photo that brings a lot of memories. And Habitat for Humanity is really important because they help so many people and they also turn hundreds of houses into homes for people.
