Meaning of home

Home is a place where I am safe. At home we share memories and stories to make you laugh. My house has a loving family and pets to make you feel better after a bad day at school. It's like a big warm hug everyday. Home is supposed to feel nice like a fire in the night. Home sounds like peace when you are angry it sounds like the ocean when you are sad. Home smells like warm food in the evening, morning, and lunch. Home feels like a shield when you are hurt. Home can be anywhere: a house, nursing home, or a retirement home. Home does not just have to be a house, it is where you have family, you're loved, and you are cared for. A household is a place where you can stay when it’s raining so you can be warm in your living room. It’s like when you are cozy and don’t want to move at all and you just want to sleep. Home is a place to be free from harm where you can rest in peace and not be bothered. Pets are supposed to be fun, they are there so you can have a good day. Home is where you are, home is not a house it is where you and your family go.
