What a Home Means to me
To me a home can be anywhere, but a house cannot be. Home is where memories and laughter are found, a house is where tangible things such as clothing, blankets, and furniture are. To me having a home is having things you might not be able to touch. A house can have special things too; there are still memories that you might be able to touch like a family photo. To me the special things in my house are the stories I tell with my family, the smell of my dad’s delicious cooking and my mom’s warm, delicious chocolate chip cookies. The most important thing in my home is my family, being able to see and feel them makes my home what it is now. If I did not have my family, I would not have a home. I hope everyone can have a home like mine to create memories, tell stories, and find new adventures. I am thankful that we have Habitat for Humanity. I hope they can make sure everyone has a roof over their head.
