True Meaning of Home

Imagine having a hard day and not having a home to come back to? I can't, having a home is like a judgement free zone where you can be yourself. At home you should feel safe and loved. In one building there are so many memories that in the moment it doesn't matter. But it will be a big deal later. First of all you should feel safe and loved. At home there is no such thing as bullies and instead, family. My family loves me and so should your parents, foster parents, grandparents or whoever you live with. Home is like a safe building where no one judges. Second of all, home isn't a building, it's a place that holds years or decades of memories. It’s like a mall of memories with pictures on the walls like stores. Whether it’s shooting a basket in basketball or making a new friend, the memories are the important thing. Lastly, it's not even about all the big things. I think that the small things are the things that make it special. Things like learning to ride a bike or visiting your grandparents are the things that really make it special, those are just some of them. Pretty much anything that happens that doesn't matter at the time should become a special memory. Overall a home isn't something that you should take for granted, there are people who don't have a home and if there wasn't Habitat For Humanity, they might never get one. Habitat For Humanity gives people in need a home and now people who lose their homes or can't afford one in the first place get a chance. So I don't see why you shouldn't thank whoever gave you a home.
