Meaning of Home

Have you ever just been having a bad day and wanting to go home with your family? Well, when I'm having a bad day I look to my family to talk to; because I can be myself around them. To me, home is my shelter, and personally my home is my feelings, not a place. Firstly, my home and my family are my shelter. They make me feel like I can have all of the emotions in the world, and they still wouldn’t be mad. That personally makes me feel sheltered because I know that sometimes people don't have anyone to unleash their emotions to, so I am very grateful that I have a loving and caring family and home I can come to. Most importantly, I feel my home is my feelings, not a building or a place. My loved ones and the people around me are my home. For example, if my mum and my dad did not live with me, it just wouldn't feel like home. My parents are my home, comfort and a person I can look up to. To me, a home means so much more than a house. Everyone in my home means everything to me, and that will never change. In conclusion, I believe that home isn’t just walls and a roof; it means being with loved ones and feeling cared for and comforted. I believe everyone should have people to comfort and care for them; everyone needs a home.
