What Home Means to Me
Have you ever asked yourself what home means to you? To me, home is memories, family, comfort, being included and hugs. The memories of waking up on Christmas morning and ripping my stockings apart with my parents. Meanwhile, my uncle is dressing up as the grinch getting ready to steal all my presents. Opening the presents I got for your cat and watching her play with her toys, or feeding her some bacon and egg flavored treats and even trying one for myself. There is nothing better than family and the amazing support they give you. For example, I came home drained from school, and my family insanely bolts over to me and gives me the biggest, warmest group hug in history, and all of their love and support. When I am down they will give me what i ask for. Family gives you something else, they give you comfort and peace, especially, when you need some time alone in your room. Whenever I feel stressed my bedroom is a comfy place for me to chill and relax. Being included, one time I was just sitting in my room bored having nothing to do. Then my brother came in and asked if I would like to play or go outside. That is the best feeling ever, most importantly, it’s the most fun time ever. Hugs, coming home from an amazing hockey game all sweaty and wet, and my mom gives me the biggest hug not caring that she is going to get socked. Another example is when I'm down and just want to stay away from everyone, my mom will give me the best hug to cheer me up. In summary, memories, family, comfort, being included, hugs is what home means to me.
