Meaning of Home

Home is where I feel happy. My home is more than just a house. A house is a building with windows and doors, but a home is a place filled with love. Home smells like a nice place filled with dinner and cooking. Home is a place where I spend time with my family. My home is a place where I feel safe and comfortable. Homes smell like a nice place. Like cookies, dinner cooking, waffles, pizza, tacos, vegetables and fruits. Home tastes like my favourite foods and hot chocolate. Home sounds like food cooking and the tv playing. Home looks like a nice and cozy place where I spend time with my family. Home feels like a place I can sleep and relax. My home also feels like love and family. I have two homes: one home with my dad and the other home with my mom. At my dad’s home, I see my aunt, my grandmother, my dad, my grandpa, my stepmother, my stepbrother and me. At my home with my dad, I get to play Roblox and games. I also get to do work. I also get to play outside in the snow with him. When there is cooking, my dad’s home smells like oxtail. At my dad’s house, it’s sometimes quiet, and it’s sometimes loud. If someone is playing games, it is loud; if we're all asleep, it’s quiet. At my mom’s house, it feels nice and calm and safe. Sometimes it smells like chocolate chip cookies, or Philly cheesesteak pizza, or chicken and rice. Sometimes it also smells like Febreze, fresh laundry and perfume. At my mom’s house, my room is cool. Sometimes it sounds like music and Netflix shows. At my mom’s house, it is relaxing and fun. I also love my home.
