Home is a Feeling Not a Place

Home isn't defined by walls or address but by comfort safety and belonging it can exist wherever you feel understood, home is a safe space for many, and some don't have a place to call home as some can't afford to have a place to sleep or eat, home is far more than just walls and a roof, knowing that others aren't as fortunate is heartbreaking and sad. Home is a place where most memories are made, home is a place where you should feel safe, home is a place where you grew up, home is a place where memories and belonging come together to make you feel whole. Home is quite consistent in a changing world, the place or presence that makes life feel steady and whole, it shows what you can achieve or why we do what we do, home doesn't have to be perfect or permanent it just simply has to be a real, a space where you feel accepted, understood, loved, and free to rest as your truest self. Home is more than just a place to return after a long day, home is a place that everyone belongs, home is where you grew up, and made memories that you can have a good chuckle to tell your friends, home is where you let down your guard and relax, home is a place physical or emotional that reminds you who you are and lets you be that person fully.
