My Home Writing

A house is a specific structure with brick, wood, concrete, a bed, a kitchen, and a living room. A house can sometimes be a base for a home. You can have a house that you call home, that you make memories in, and where you are cared for. A family is a major part of having a good home. Without family, you could’nt make memories or have fun. My family is a mom, a dad, an older sister, an older brother, a twin, and two dogs. Without them, I would’nt be writing in this contest because then I would have no positive attitude, no growth mindset, and no love from my parents, dogs, and siblings. I think a home and a house are quite different, a home does’nt have to be a house. A home could be a box, a cave, or even a hole. But a home is where you love, feel loved, make memories, and feel safe. A home is where someone will ask to hug you, where someone will love you, care for you, and comfort you when you feel down. A home is where you laugh, hug, forgive, forget, make good memories, make bad ones. A home is where you can be you.
