Hermys the Hermit Crab’s New Shell

One day Hermys woke up with his shell feeling a little too tight. This made Hermys very sad. He had grown up in this shell, he had memories in this shell. It was his home. He did not want to change shells, he was afraid he would forget all of his memories in his old shell. So torn with feelings, he decided to go to the one person he could think of, his dad. When he found his dad he immediately told him his predicament. Hermys’ dad told him that we wouldn’t forget his memories, because home is a special thing. Even if he did not live in it any more, it would never leave him. Because home is heart. Hermys took what his dad said and changed shells, even though he was sad he knew he would never forget his memories in his old shell.
