What Home Means to Me
What Home Means To Me
Home is more than just the walls around me, home is the place where I feel safe, where I can laugh without worrying about who is listening, and where the smallest things make me smile. The smell of cooking drifting from the kitchen, the sound of footsteps in the hallway, or the quiet of a corner with an amazing book-all of these make home feel alive.
Home is where I can be messy, make mistakes, and still be accepted. Its where love shows up in little ways: a hug, a shared joke, or when someone noticing when I need help. Sometimes home is loud and busy, full of chatter and noise, and sometimes it is quiet, giving me space to think.
Home is the place that grows with me, from the days I play with toys on the floor to the moments when I sit and stay up late, thinking about the future. Home is made of ordinary things that somehow feel extraordinary when they are mine. A favourite chair, a worn-out blanket, a desk full of memories.
That is what home means to me.
