My Home
MY HOME
To me home means having life: In my home, that's what there is. Inside the walls of my house there is kindness and I feel safe. Every time I step into the door of my house I feel like I can open my heart and express my feelings.
At home I can sit at the table and talk about my day with my family and learn new things from them. When I get off the bus I love hearing the sound of my dad telling me to do my chores. My home gives me a sense of responsibility.
I love hearing the sound of my mom opening the door and coming to say hi to me. Home gives me a sense of comfort.
My dad cooks delicious dinners like Julia Child’s would. After dinner in my cozy bed, I absorb the words of my book and as I drift off to sleep, I dream about what it would be like if I was in the book.
My home is my happy place. There are no words big enough to describe how much I love my home. I hope everyone can experience the love of home. This is what home means to me.
