A House is Different Than a Home

A house is different than a home, a house is where you eat and sleep. A is where you laugh and cry. Where you are happy, sad and mad. My home was a house to me when I first moved in. It has been six years since I moved in and in those years my home has changed. It shows me that a home is more then just a place, it's a heart beat growing stronger and louder every day. Everyday at dinner even if it's small I feel calm laughing and talking. It reminds me of a warm blanket and hot chocolate. Just being home reminds me of my mom's cooking and my dad's loud music. Home is like a never ending song full of memories and joy. It's a song that everyone loves and makes then feel safe. Home is my safe place and home is where I can be myself. That is why home is special to me.
