What Home Really Is

Home is not just glued bricks and furniture, it's made of other things too. Home is love, happiness, memories, and joy gluing everything together; it's not just a structure, it's my home. Home is not just a place but it's a community. A community full of other houses and families. My home is loud and yours might be too but that loud is excitement. My family loves to be together and make memories. Whether we are watching T.V, playing a board game, or biking, we make amazing memories. Home might not be where you live with your family but your school can be like home, or your grandparents house. Your home is not just one spot when you move you get a new home and make new memories. I moved a lot in my life and I sometimes have to share a room with my little brother but it brought us closer. My brothers and I like to play games together. Our favorite game to play together is Mario Kart. My mom and I like to bake on Sunday. She has taught me how to make lots of different foods like cookies, cake and bread. My dad taught me how to read and now we read together at night before bed. I love to go on walks with my dog. My home is my safe place because it's a place I can trust with lots of love. My house is safe because it's a cover to keep the cold snow and rain from getting in. My home is awesome and I'm very grateful for my home, for a roof over my head and a place to live. I hope everyone has a place that's safe and can call home.
