Why Home Matters to Me?
Home:
Has a connection towards you.
It's where you belong.
Could also refer to the area/neighbourhood you grew up in.
House:
Could have a connection towards nobody or someone.
Could belong to another family or no one.
Could be still a house, even if no one lives inside the building.
Home means a lot to me. It’s much different than a house, I assure you. Home means to me, a place where you can spend time with your family, hang out with friends, go relax, and best of all, have fun.
For me, home is much more than “just a house”, unlike a house, where it wouldn't have any relation to you, a home has a bonding towards you. a strong, mutual one for anyone who lives in the family. Even if you have a house, some people might not consider it “home”. Maybe it’s because they spend most of their time outside, or they recently bought a new house they are not very familiar with yet. That's completely normal. Maybe someone hasn't found “home” yet. Maybe someone doesn’t really consider home “home” and rather something else. And that’s completely fine. Everyone has their own lifestyles, and everyone is going through something different. Though, for some people, home is bliss. And I think so too.
To me, home is a place where serenity overrides the chaos of the outside world. And I wish everyone could experience having a home, because it feels like heaven.
