My home is a place I feel safe My home is a nice place I feel I love I share laughter too I go to my room when I feel down And when I leave home I don't feel sad I know ill come back to town When we gather we don't feel sad And when i smell my moms cooking i dont feel bad Home is where i play And on rainy nights home is where i stay When it's Christmas time and ornaments shine. Lights fly and dance in the night sky. When nights are tough and I can't sleep. I remember home is safe and fun My home is a place for everybody. I feel bad for people that don't have a safe home young and old So that's why we have to be bold Home is a memory we have forever Even if we move we remember. Our home is a part of our family It's a place we live our lives A place we never give off sighs Home is where we laugh and live Its a place i learned its better to give Home feels good to me Home is where i grow old Its where i learned to be bold Home is where i listen to bird calls Its where i jump in leaves in the fall Thank you habitat for humanity for giving people a safe place to live
