Home is where we feel loved!
Home is where we feel loved, no matter the culture or the things we love. Home is what I love where we stick together like doves. It’s where I go for comfort, when I feel worried, scared or alone. It’s not just a bunch of walls put together as one, it means way more than that,it holds memories that we cherish deeply with our hearts.
Home looks like family together stronger than ever, with smiles on our faces wherever and whenever we go. It looks like me and my brother playing volleyball together, where we both try our best to be good volleyball players.
Home sounds like laughter through the air where we spread love and kindness everywhere. It sounds like movies playing and us getting snuggled up, with cozy blankets. It sounds like compliments that feel good and the mistakes I understood.
Home smells like the aroma of my mom cooking a delicious dinner with love spices sprinkled on to it, to make it taste absolutely incredible. home smells like my brother walking down the hall and you can smell his very strong perfume that might make you want to move. It smells like amazing traditional food with different beautiful tastes that make them all unique.
Home tastes like the amazing flavors of salty, spicy, sour and sweet just think about it isn’t that neat. It tastes like sugary goodness where there are lots of sweet candies just waiting to be opened. It tastes like smooth buttery popcorn that tastes like heaven, and it tastes crunchy, crispy, soft and any other things you can imagine.
Home feels like a warm, cozy cloud where I can think, be myself and dream of magical lands. It feels like comfort and warm hugs that brighten my mood, whenever I feel down. It feels like more than just a shelter. Home feels like my protector that keeps me safe.
Home is one of the greatest things anyone could ever have, and I am really grateful that I have one to help me survive. Home looks like the sun setting so the moon can rise where I'm with the people that are my PRIZE!
Thank you Habitat for Humanity, for letting us get this chance to share our work and let other people have homes like I do, so they can have a place they call home.
