What Home Means To Me

Home isn’t just a place, it’s where I feel safe and comfortable, And where special memories are held. On weekends I sometimes see my mom baking in the kitchen, While I sit in the living room with my fireplace or help her. I hear birds chirping and squirrels taking pinecones, And sometimes geese and ducks fly over our roof. I see my sister watching YouTube tutorials, So we can do aerials ( gymnastics). On weekdays I do homework, And that's where memories work. Family come over for dinner parties, So the kids can watch tv and play together. Home is where memories are made, So we share it like a cake.
