What Home Means To Me
My home is a safe and caring environment where I can relax. My home is especially important and special because it is one of my parents first properties in Canada, so that means they’ve owned it for almost 15 years and I think that is crazy. To me, home is the peace and silence when I get back from school. Home is the great happiness of my dog when someone gets back. Home is the safe and comfortable place that I know today.
In the morning, I wake up early and come downstairs to hear my parents sizzling eggs on the stove and the yawn of my dog, as well as the calm silence of my home. This is the familiarity of my home. My home is a two-story (not including the basement) home with a six bed eight bath. It is this big because I have a family of seven people and two pets, but one of my grandmas lives somewhere not far away, and the other one just went to China.
The two pets that we own are Ace, my male German Shepherd and Loki, my male Bombay cat. Loki is a bit older than Ace but Ace is bigger than Loki. We wanted to name Ace Thor because in the movies Loki and Thor are brothers but my mom could not pronounce it right so we chose the name Ace. My home is very very comfortable because when I come home my dog Ace comes to greet me and after I change into indoor clothes I can go anywhere and there is stuff to do and places to relax. So in conclusion, home is a relaxing, comfortable, safe, and familiar place. This is what home means to me.
