Home

Home is my favourite thing. It is cozy and in the winter my family makes hot chocolate that feels warm and creamy, with marshmallows floating in it. You feel different in your home than anywhere else in the world. It is the place I feel most like myself and where I can be the most comfortable. At my home, I make snow forts as strong as a house. In my home, I feel safer than anywhere else. I feel like I can do anything because it is mine and not anyone else’s. And normally when you’re at your house, your parents are there too so they give you company. I feel happy when my family is home with me. When I go in my hot tub, I get really warm and normally I go with my dad. We like to drink Perrier and talk. When I am relaxing there, it’s a time to think and doing this thinking with my dad feels helpful. When my friends are over, the hot tub feels different. It’s more active and we do challenges like jumping in the snow. I have a sibling so it just feels normal to be at home like if I were to move it would feel really weird to be away from her. Getting to see my parents at the end of each day makes me feel calm. And the best part of my home is my couch that swallows you up when you sit on it.
