It's Not Just My House

My home is not just my house, it's a place where I can stay safe and feel safe. My home protects me from all the elements outside when it is winter and there is a very cold storm outside. My home keeps me and my family warm inside its walls. Every single day when I go to school I know even if I have a bad day my home will be there with my family inside ready to ask about my day and to give me hugs when I have a bad day. My living room has lots of memories. We have pictures hanging on the walls of all our best times and adventures. It also has memories that are not framed that we keep in our head to remember. All of my best memories come from home and all the best meals too! No fast food restaurant can ever beat a home cooked meal every day before school. Me, my mom and brother walk to the bus stop and our dog comes. When I leave for school I miss home and my family and then after school I run home to my mom! Home means a lot of different things to everyone but for me it means a safe place full of happy memories that can never be forgotten.
