What Home Means to Me
Home is where I feel calm and ready, excited, yet nervous for the next adventure, but most likely too brave to find X and Y two thousand times in three days.
Home is where I feel loved and cared for, lazy, yet ready to do hundreds of things.
Home is where it is ok to lose and people are waiting their turn, yet strategically planning their victory, but thinking there will be a draw.
Home is where homemade bread and japanese curry fill the air with smells I can not describe, warm chai latte, coffee, and tea are made and heated, where videos and games are watched, lost, and won.
Home is where letters are written and forms are signed, where podcasts are listened to and people fall asleep.
Home is where people get ready for adventures, have delicious breakfasts and everything moves slow or at half the speed of sound while games are played.
Home is where everything is your friend and where some exciting things happen every day, like your favourite meal being made or new tools being bought to make life easier.
Thank you for reading this, for I am doing my part to help people feel safe and warm.
