The meaning of home to me is happiness, kindness and a family who loves you. Everybody deserves a home and everybody should have a home. I hope one day everyone has a home and that could happen with help from Habitat for Humanity. Families are very important because they protect you and they help you. They are kind to you and that is why my family is amazing. They play a big role in my life because they are family and family is one of the most amazing things in the world. I feel comforted lying on my bed, smelling roast beef cooking in the afternoon. That is why family is important. My family makes me happy because they play sports with me a lot in my yard. It helps me to get better at soccer and baseball. Thank goodness I have a backyard. When you are in a home you have feelings, like happiness, kindness and sadness and you feel protected. Your parents or siblings can easily cheer you up. That is why everyone needs a home because you feel protected, safe and loved. That it is great because you can express your feelings and emotions. Kindness is important. My parents show kindness by taking me to all my hockey tournaments and driving me to school. I have an amazing fantastic home and I want a lot of people to have a home. You also make fantastic memories. This is why home is really important and amazing. My dad talks to me when we lose a hockey game and my mom usually says that I did great. They love me. Habitat for Humanity can give other kids the same opportunities I have because they won’t have to worry, they will have a home to come home to.
