Meaning of Home

I like my home because it feels safe and I don't have to share a room, even though I have 4 siblings. But that's not the point, the point is to care for your family, like sometimes i think if my family was not there, i would have to make dinner, go to school by myself (etc). To me, home is a place where I feel loved, safe ,happy and cared for. Home is not just a place. Last year I moved from Thornton to Wasaga Beach. It was hard because I had a lot of friends that lived nearby. One of my best friends came to my old school in grade 3 so I was only with her for 2 years and then I had to move 40 minutes away. It was hard to move away from so many of my friends but I was lucky because this school is new so there were many new people so I was not the only new person and I found a great friend group pretty quickly which is good. because if I had gone to maybe Worsley or Birchview, I would just probably be the only new person there that is why I'm happy with my school that I am at. And I am super grateful to have a safe and loving family.
