A Home is...

To begin with, a home is a place for you to feel comfortable,a place where you can come home to after a day at school. Home is a place to feel loved,by your parents, siblings, a pet or even just a loved one. It's a place to be yourself. There is no judging here. When and if you are sad I guarantee a family member will make you feel better. With a hug, a compliment or playing a board game. When you're sad a joke will help like: what do you call a pirate that builds houses? An arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrchitect. Did I make you laugh? When it was told to me when I was sad it made me laugh. At my home I feel loved and safe. I feel safe when my parents hug me,when my dog is near or with me. You can feel safe with even just a warm blanket. No matter where you are, if you're at home you're safe and loved. If at school there is a lot of drama you can talk to your parents when you're a part of it and when you're not. For instance if your friend is being rude, tell your parents they have the solution or maybe not THE solution but a good one. When you're not a part of the situation you can ask your parents why you feel sad or like you're a part of it. In particular, how to act in this situation. If you don't feel safe ,loved and cared for you might not be in a good condition at school or even your home. A home is a place where you feel loved every day.
