The Definition of Home

The definition of home is not just four walls and a roof. It’s the feeling you get when you’re with your family or your friends. For example, when I was younger, I lived far away from where I live now, but I was still with family and friends. These important people, family, friends, and loved ones, make the home feel happy, carefree, and joyful. I rarely feel lonely in serious situations like school, swimming, or soccer because when I am with the people I care about, I feel comfortable. For example, when I am talking with my friends, I laugh a lot, and I am always happy when I’m around them. And when I’m with my family, I always feel comforted and feel like I can tell them anything. So to answer your question, my definition of home is not just four walls and a roof. Home is wherever my family and friends are and where I can be carefree, happy, and joyful.
