A Home

A home, a dirty, messy house with a disgusting smell of dirty laundry. A home. A house with no guardian near. A home, an unloving family. That is not a home. A home, a clean, beautiful home with a dog waiting for you to come back from school. A home, a parent making your favourite dinner. A home, a loving family. That is a true home. I used to think that messy, dirty, unhealthy, sad houses were what my home was, but that isn't true. A home with a clean bedroom and happy family laughing downstairs. Somethings are messy but that is ok. I am where I am now in a safe, happy home with my mom helping me with school work instead of everyone stressing. A home isn't about having a house, its about getting nostalgia standing in that same area of memories, it's about happiness. A home, a place I can run to when I am scared. The old home wasn't for me. Homes aren't all about being clean, it's about being happy. It's time to build a better home.
