Meaning Of Home

For me a home is not just a structure with doors and walls, it is a special place. The living room is fun, enjoyable and filled with laughter and lots of other things. The kitchen is where we spend time together like baking, cooking and other things. It is also a place where we make lots of traditional and cultural food. The kitchen is also the place where we make a lot of messes, but my favourite thing in the kitchen is the food! The bedrooms are the places we laugh, make memories and pray and can sleep with a roof over my head. The bathroom is where I can shower and stay clean, and my family can too. And my home is a place I feel like I belong and don't need to make everything perfect and just be myself and be surrounded by people who care for me for who I truly am. I am so thankful because not a lot of families have everything I do. That's why I'm here to try to help families that are struggling due to rent subsidies, no jobs and financial issues and more. I will never be ungrateful for anything because a lot of people don't have that or a roof over their head. Or maybe a place they can never refer to as home. That is what the meaning of home means in my heart.
