Meaning of Home
To me home is not just a structure. It's a place where you spend your entire life, where you grow experiencing happiness, love, togetherness along with your family and much more, and eventually all these will stay in our memories forever. To me a home is like a mother, when we come to her she makes us feel warm and comfortable. When I come home from school, I feel that all the stress from school is lifted off my shoulders. If I have a bad day in school or anywhere else, home welcomes me with warm hugs and kisses. Our family members are the lights of our home. Each time we go home and see them, we feel brighter. In the living room, we all sit as a family and watch movies. In a way, our home serves us as a theater. A home is beyond four walls that protects us from the snow, rain and hail. It is a shield that protects us from all the hazards of the outside world. On cold winter days, we all snuggle under our bedsheets, drinking hot cocoa, looking out of the window at the snow flakes and enjoying the moment. How can this moment get any better? Or on Christmas eve, sitting around the dining table in your home, along with your family and enjoying the fest. What a blessing to have a home.
Thank you Habitat for humanity for helping people get affordable homes, so they could enjoy the happiness of having a home, and stay safe and grow old along with their families safely.
