Home is the heart of my family

To me home is not just a building, it's the heart of my family where me and my family's memories are made. My home is where my dad cooks meals for my family, where my mom bakes with me and where my brother and I play video games. Home is where my grandparents come to spend time with me and my brother. At my home I can express and speak my emotions and everyone will understand me. When I’m home I feel safe and protected. It's like I have an army of people surrounding me and my family. My bedroom is my favorite room in my home. It is where I sleep, do homework, and have quiet time. My living room is my second favorite room in my home because it is where me and my family play games and watch movies. My third favorite room in my home is the basement because my brother and I build forts and then hide in them then destroy them together.
