Meaning of Home

No one alone in a home of our own. In our house the noise of a basketball bouncing means my dad is here and someone is on my side. My room is like a colourful rainbow, it’s cool and filled with all my favourite colours- blue and green. When I go to sleep I listen to the wind outside,I feel like it's trying to escape from a monster, and climb in my room, but I know I’m safe. Home is when my mom cooks chicken, soft and juicy, and I can smell it from my room. When I think of home, I think of that smell. Playing hockey against my brother is great, especially when I win, and prove that I am better. Home is awesome because I have all of the things I need and love.
