My Home is More Than a Structure

My home is full of love, It's more than the above, I always feel safe and grateful, No one's ever hateful. I feel comfy and protected, We’re always respected, I lay down in my bed, And I'm always fed. In the early, bright, chilly mornings, The sun rays are sparkling and warming, I smell my dad’s homemade pancakes, That my dad usually makes. I have fun with my little sister, Especially when we play Twister, I love to cuddle my mom, Because she helps me stay calm. My family is my home, My home is not a structure or dome, It's my amazing family, And it includes me!
